Live blackjack, played by the crowd

The IMPAKT house table deals around the clock. The room bets, votes and decides every hand.

On the IMPAKT house channel, a blackjack table runs 24 hours a day. Each hand opens a fourteen second betting window, then the cards come out, then the crowd votes hit or stand in fourteen seconds and the table plays what the room decided. A prediction market and an auction for a look at a card run beside every hand.

How a hand works

1. Bets open. Back the table or bet against it. Free votes cost nothing; bets use coins.
2. The deal. The shoe is committed with a hash before the first bet, and the crowd's bets seed the shuffle.
3. The crowd decides. Hit, stand or double, by majority. The book play is shown next to the vote, and the table follows the book if nobody votes.
4. The result. Dealer plays out, bets settle, the seed is revealed so the hand can be verified. A push refunds the book.

Rules at the table

Six deck shoe, blackjack pays 3 to 2, the dealer stands on all 17s. The dealer's hole card can be revealed to the whole room by the winner of the look auction.
