What is crowdplay?

The interaction layer that turns viewers into players.

Crowdplay is a way of streaming a game where the audience takes part in it. Instead of only watching and chatting, viewers act on the game: they vote on the next move, predict how a round ends, bet on an outcome, or bid for an action. The game reads the result and applies it, live, and the stream shows the consequence.

The four ways a crowd plays

Why the clock is in the picture

A live stream reaches each viewer a few seconds after it was captured. Crowdplay draws the countdown into the video itself and keeps the window open for a short grace after the clock shown reaches zero, so a vote cast at the last second on your screen still counts.

What makes it fair

Games that play for stakes commit to a hidden seed before the first bet and reveal it after the result, and the crowd's own bets are part of the entropy. Neither the house nor any player can know the outcome before the window closes.

Where it works

Crowdplay runs on IMPAKT channels, on the 24/7 house table, and alongside Twitch and Kick streams through the companion. Any game can connect through the crowdplay protocol: a socket, a catalogue of actions, and settlement handled by the platform.
