Live roulette, bet by the crowd

A wheel the whole room bets on, with the spin committed before the bets open.

Between runs of blackjack, the IMPAKT house channel spins a European roulette wheel. Fourteen seconds to place bets on red, black, odd, even, a dozen, a column or a straight number, then the ball runs and lands in the pocket the bets seeded.

How a spin works

1. The commitment. Before the window opens, the spin's seed is hashed and the hash is shown on the picture.
2. Bets open. Every market and its payout is printed on the cloth: 35 to 1 on a number, 2 to 1 on a dozen or a column, 1 to 1 on the rest.
3. The spin. The bets themselves are the other half of the entropy, so neither the house nor a player can know the pocket before the window closes.
4. The result. Winners are paid, then the seed is revealed so anyone can verify the spin.

Single zero

One zero pocket, which only pays the straight bet on zero. That is where the house edge lives, and it is the whole of it.
