About IMPAKT
The live streaming network where the audience plays the game.
IMPAKT is a live streaming platform built around one idea: the people watching should be able to play. On IMPAKT, viewers vote on the next move, predict how a round ends and bid for actions, and the game being streamed applies what the crowd decided, live and on camera.
What we make
The platform has three parts. Crowdplay is the interaction layer: polls, predictions, betting markets and action auctions that a game can open and settle. The network is the streaming site itself, impaktlive.tv, with channels, chat, a store of coins and artifacts, and a season of rewards. The house channel is a table that never closes: blackjack and roulette dealt around the clock, with the crowd betting and deciding every hand, so there is always a game to join.
Who is behind it
IMPAKT is built by Everreach Labs, the studio behind the co-op extraction game Astral Sever. It was founded by Ethan Cohen. The same team builds the games and the layer that lets an audience play them, which is why the two fit together.
How it is fair
Every hand of blackjack and every spin of roulette on the house channel is committed with a hash before any bet is placed, and the seed is revealed after the result. Anyone can check that the cards or the pocket were not chosen after the bets were known. Coins are the in-app currency for predictions, gifts and game actions; free votes never cost anything, and coins have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
For creators
A creator streams to IMPAKT with OBS or from the browser studio, connects a crowdplay game or runs the built-in tables, and the room plays along. Twitch and Kick viewers can play along through the companion. Set up a channel or read the developer documentation to connect your own game.
