Coins are the in-app currency of IMPAKT. Here is the whole of it, in plain words.

What coins do

• Stake a prediction on a yes or no market a game will settle.
• Bet on the built-in blackjack and roulette tables.
• Bid in an auction for an action on the stream.
• Send a gift or use an artifact in a live room.

Votes never cost coins. Watching never costs coins.

How to get them

• A welcome balance when you create an account.
• Earned by watching, voting and playing: the season board shows the ways to earn and the rewards at each tier.
• Optional coin packs in the store, with the price of every action shown before you choose it.

What coins are not

Coins have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn and cannot be exchanged for money. They are a way to play, not a way to win money. That is also why votes, the thing most people do most often, are free and open to everyone.

Fairness
