CS2 is built from short, clear rounds. Each one ends with a winner, and kills, bomb events and round wins are all tracked by the game. That gives viewers something to call before every round and a result nobody can argue with.

How does IMPAKT connect to CS2?

IMPAKT uses Valve's Game State Integration, a config file you download from the IMPAKT dashboard and drop into your CS2 folder. Rounds settle from the match data: round wins, kills and objectives.

Do I need to install anything to connect CS2 to IMPAKT?

Only a config file. Download the Game State Integration file from the IMPAKT dashboard and place it in your CS2 config folder.

Who decides who wins a round?

The game. IMPAKT reads the match data from Valve's Game State Integration, not the streamer's word.

Can viewers win real money?

No. Viewers play with coins that have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. Real money play exists only through a casino that connects its own wallet, with partner casinos where allowed.
