Twitch or Kick: where a streamer earns more, and how to earn more on both

Kick offers streamers a bigger share of subscriptions than Twitch, while Twitch has the larger audience and an extension platform. On both, income is capped by the size of the audience until viewers can do more than watch. A layer like IMPAKT pays the streamer for engagement on either platform, without moving the stream.

Subscriptions

Kick advertises a 95 per cent share of subscription revenue to the streamer. On Twitch the standard share is lower and depends on the program the streamer is in. For a subscription heavy channel, Kick pays more per subscriber.

Audience and discovery

Twitch has the larger audience and more categories. Kick is smaller and strongest in IRL and casino streaming. Engagement, meaning viewers who stay and take part, is what both platforms reward.

Interaction

Twitch supports extensions, so tools can run inside the player. Kick does not, so interaction runs in chat and on companion pages. IMPAKT runs on both: in chat with !yes and !no, and on a live page with a clickable overlay.

Earning from engagement on either platform

With IMPAKT a streamer receives 25 per cent of the coins viewers spend in their channel and 40 per cent of the house share on rounds settled there, wherever the stream is. Casino streamers also keep their own referral commission through the casino button.

Questions

Does Kick pay streamers more than Twitch?

Per subscriber, Kick advertises a higher share to the streamer. Total income still depends on audience size and on how much viewers take part.

How can I earn more on Twitch and Kick at the same time?

Keep streaming where you are and add a play along layer. IMPAKT runs rounds on both platforms and pays the streamer a share of every round viewers play.
